Children's Activities at the Centre

NEW FOR 2012

In collaboration with Lincolnshire WIldlife Trust a new service is starting for pre-school children. Following on from the excitement of Nature Tots (held in the Education Centre on the first Wednesday of every month) come over to the Centre for lunch and then a relaxing half hour storytime session with our resident storyteller. Contact the Centre to find out more about this new service

Countryside Critters
10.30 – 11.30am Wednesday 6 June

Using air drying clay and lots of natural resources, come and create your own Countryside Critter. Whether it will be a beautiful woodland fairy or a gruesome forest gremlin – you can decide!

Natural Dyeing Workshop
10.30am – 12.30pm Thursday 7 June

Join our Hill Holt Wood ranger, Rich Livesy to discover how to use natural dyes before creating your own self dyed bracelet to take away. Rich will also be looking at some of nature’s other resources to discover how we used our native plants to survive.

All workshops will be £2.50 per child. Workshops are suitable for children 4 years and over, and must be accompanied by an adult.

All Workshops must be booked in advance to ensure your place. Sessions begin promptly at the time stated and last for approximately one hour. All Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Workshops are £2.50 per child.
